This morning began with several balloons taking flight early in the morning, launching gracefully into the crisp autumn sky, followed by a special treat featuring the tethered Rainbow Balloon (G-CMEX).
The setup allowed people to step into the basket for a short but thrilling ride as the balloon gently lifted them into the sky while remaining securely tethered to the ground.
Families, friends, and adventure-seekers lined up throughout the morning, eager to experience the sensation of floating just above the landscape.
For many, this was their first time experiencing the sensation of a hot air balloon ride, and the expressions of awe and excitement were a joy to witness.
The calm breeze and clear weather made for perfect conditions, with the sun casting a warm glow over the scenery. Some participants took photos and videos to capture the moment, while others simply soaked in the beauty of the view.
Overall, the tethered balloon ride brought a sense of adventure and joy to Snake Meadows, leaving attendees with lasting memories and perhaps inspiring dreams of future flights higher into the sky.
Also adding to the magic, the Bristol Balloon Collectors joined us, inflating several of their cherished vintage and specialty balloons. Their colourful collection dotted the meadow, creating a vibrant display that fascinated balloon enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
The morning created a wonderful, lighthearted atmosphere, with laughter, chatter, and the occasional gasp of excitement filling the air.
