In January 2024, experienced pilot and hot air balloon enthusiast Jerry Davis became the owner of a field in Saltford situated between the beautiful World Heritage City of Bath and the bustling City of Bristol.

Saltford is surrounded by beautiful green belt land which preserves its rural setting which makes it a fantastic location for hot air ballooning.

The field was named Snake Meadows after Jerry’s Ultramagic M-90 special shape balloon “Slither” (G-SNKE) and it was here that Bath Hot Air Balloon Club (BHABC) was founded.

The BHABC is a group of dedicated hot air balloon enthusiasts who organise events for those interested in experiencing or getting involved in the unique magical world of hot air ballooning.

BHABC is a not for profit club and money raised through our events go towards our chosen charities and to support our future events.
