Snake Meadows was transformed into a magical winter wonderland as Father Christmas himself made a special appearance tonight, delighting families and spreading festive cheer.
Father Christmas arrived in style, gliding in on his iconic sleigh and sparking excitement among children and adults alike. His enchanting entrance set the tone for the festivities, as he stepped off his sleigh to greet families, listen to Christmas wishes, and pose for festive photos..
In a playful twist, the Grinch also made a surprise visit, offering his trademark mischievous antics. The children squealed with laughter as he tried (and failed) to “steal” Christmas, adding a humorous touch to the festivities.
Jane Richards, who attended with her three children, shared her amazement: “Father Christmas’s entrance was amazing — I’ve never seen anything like that before. The snow and foam made it feel like a real winter wonderland, and the whole evening was such a treat for the kids”.
The event is part of our ongoing efforts to bring the community together whilst raising funds for Suicide Prevention UK one of the clubs chosen charities. The funds raised will go towards supporting mental health initiatives and suicide prevention efforts which is especially significant given the rising awareness of mental health challenges in our communities.
If you would like to get involved with organising future events we would love to hear from you.
